The Coffee Roaster and Security Detail: Joe is not likely to found in a tuxedo. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and is a LtCol in the USMCR. With 15 years of active service along with additional time in government work, Joe has a strong appreciation for good coffee. Joe has other graduate work and experience that is likely to put to sleep unless you like to hump hills or set up comms…. Ooh rah Joe!
What makes Joe a good coffee roaster is learning by doing. Never giving up. Trial and error. The joy of pursuing excellence. He got started with a very small roaster bought from an infomercial and worked his way up to what we have today. When you come to the shop you can see the equipment your coffee is roasted in. A beautiful thing!
